Moving Conversations: Advancing Solution-Focused Practice and Research (SFBTA2025)

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Nov 06 – 09, 2025

I am thrilled to announce a very special event happening this November in the beautiful city of Toronto—a conference dedicated to moving conversations forward using the Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) approach.

This conference will be a gathering of therapists, practitioners, educators, business leaders, healthcare professionals, and parents—people like you who care deeply about making their conversations more meaningful, collaborative, and impactful. We welcome you whether you are experienced in the field or just beginning to learn about solution focus.

If you have attended one of my workshops, trainings or presentations, you will know that I am a great advocate of solution focused practice as it aligns with daily communication. At its core, SFBT is a powerful way of interacting and developing relationships that brings out the best in people while instilling hope and possibility even in the most challenging of situations. It productively changes the way you lead, teach, support, and relate to others—at work and at home.

You’ll hear from some of the world’s leading experts in SFBT, each bringing their own real-world experience from across different sectors. Through interactive workshops and practical sessions, you’ll walk away with strategies you can start using immediately—and a fresh perspective that will stay with you long after the conference ends.

Conference registration entitles you to a free year membership to the Solution Focused Brief Therapy Association.  You can find all conference details and register here.

Tickets are still available but going fast! I encourage you to join us for an opportunity to grow your practice, develop your teams, enrich your relationships, and connect with a vibrant community of solution-focused thinkers. Please feel free to share this invitation with your family, friends and colleagues.

If you’re returning from summer holidays, welcome back! I wish you all the best as you step into the regular routine with a renewed sense of hope and purpose.
